Senator Ede Dafinone, has extended warm Eid al-Adha greetings to Muslim residents of Delta Central and across Nigeria, calling on citizens to embrace the holiday’s themes of faith, sacrifice and communal responsibility.
In a congratulatory message signed by the Senator, Dafinone described Eid as a time for reflection, gratitude and renewed commitment to values that strengthen families and communities. He urged citizens to practise peace, compassion and generosity, and to support the less privileged regardless of ethnic or religious differences.
“Our collective progress depends on our ability to live together in harmony and work for the common good,” the senator said, reaffirming his commitment to inclusive representation and support for youth empowerment, family-strengthening initiatives and livelihood improvement across Delta Central.
Dafinone praised the Muslim community in Delta Central for its contributions to peace and development and called on all Nigerians to remain hopeful and united amid national challenges.
He appealed for patience and shared responsibility, saying these qualities will help the country achieve lasting progress.
He prayed that Allah accept worship and sacrifices, grant peace to homes, wisdom to leaders, and enduring prosperity to the nation, and wished all Muslim faithful a joyful and spiritually fulfilling Eid al-Adha.
