In a move to bolster inter-agency collaboration and fortify the state’s security framework, Delta State Commissioner of Police, CP Yemi Oyeniyi, led his Command Management Team on courtesy visits to the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) today.
According to SP Bright Edafe, the State Police Public Relations Officer, the visits underscore CP Oyeniyi’s commitment to seamless partnerships amid rising security demands in Delta State.
At the NSCDC State Command, CP Oyeniyi was received by Commandant Chinedu Fabian Igbo. The delegation then proceeded to FRSC Sector 5.2, where Sector Commander Charles Eyo Edem, hosted them. CP Oyeniyi lauded the Corps’ road safety initiatives and pushed for unified action on highways.
“No agency succeeds alone—synergy is our cornerstone,” he emphasized, pledging enhanced information exchange, crime prevention, emergency response, and public awareness campaigns.
These engagements align with CP Oyeniyi’s strategy to unite security stakeholders, ensuring safer communities across Delta State.
