Hon. Ambassador Frank Awerosuoghene Ossai, an aspirant for the House of Representatives in the Ughelli-Udu Federal Constituency in the past elections, has described the return of Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru to the All Progressives Congress APC, as the beginning of a new wave of hope for the party.
Amb. Ossai, who is among notable grassroots politicians that joined Chief Ogboru on his return to the APC last Sunday, has also stated that Chief Ogboru whom he described as his leader, boss and father, came to raise the stakes for the party by joining hands with the Collegiate Leaders to consolidate and make it more viable for an impressive outing in the next elections of 2027.

He made the assertion while speaking to newsmen during the grand welcome – back ceremony organized by notable leaders of the Delta APC under the aegis of the Collegiate Leaders to formally receive the widely acclaimed Delta’s symbol of opposition politics, Chief Great Ogboru and his teaming supports, on Sunday 9th, March 2025 at the Ughelli Town Hall.
Amb. Ossai who emphasized without mincing words, that Chief Ogboru’s presence in the APC would consolidate and make the party more formidable, further noted that with Ogboru now back to the APC, the party would eventually become a very hard nut to crack by the Peoples Democractic Party, PDP come 2027.
He sent warm appreciations to his friends, relatives, political associates and supporters who mobilized in their massive numbers to attend the welcome-back ceremony, urging them to be ready to give their best towards the attainment of the aims and objectives of Ogboru’s return, which he said was to join other Collegiate Leaders to reposition the APC towards victory in 2027.
The renowned grassroots politician who is popularly known as Youth Ambassador, reiterated his determination to continue to use his connections to push for a better life for the people, just as he assured that his dream to bring succour as well as quality dividends of democracy to their doorsteps remains unwavering.
He that he looks forward to influencing other developmental projects to the federal constituency, which includes Udu LGA, Ughelli North and Ughelli-South LGAs, saying they were yet to see the best of him.
Hon. Ossai has over the years been known for using his connections to influence appreciable development to his people, especially the influencing of NDDC Solar lights to places like Ekakpramre Community in Ughelli-South LGA, Igbeki Layout in Ovwian Community in Udu LGA, Ovwodokpokpor in Ogor and Aragba Orogun both in Ughelli-North among several other communities.*.
