Though the cause of the crisis could not be ascertained as at press time, but it was gathered that late Mr. Felix Edenughe was the factional vice chairman of the youth in the community until he was murdered on Saturday, August 20, under the watch of his wife.
A community source who crave anonymity revealed that the crisis which has crippled commercial activities in the area, is a tussle between two prominent indigenes that are poised to control the central executive of the community.
Continuing, the source disclosed that the issue is before a customary court with suit No. UNACC/139/2021, but said he didn’t understand what later transpired that led to the killing and destruction of properties.
