The Delta Online Publishers Forum (DOPF) has congratulated its Vice Chairman, Elder Chukwudi Abiandu, on reaching his 70th birthday, praising his long-standing contribution to journalism, public relations and national development.
A veteran journalist and publisher of Banneronlinenews, Elder Abiandu brings more than three decades of professional experience to the media industry. DOPF described him as a model of integrity and ethical practice, noting his balanced reporting, insightful analysis and steady mentorship of younger journalists.
As DOPF vice chairman, Abiandu has been credited with providing calm leadership and strategic counsel that strengthened the forum’s unity and credibility. The group said his efforts have advanced online journalism in Delta State and across Nigeria while defending the profession’s standards.
In a statement signed by DOPF Secretary Shedrack Onitsha, the forum thanked God for Abiandu’s health and service, and prayed for continued protection, renewed strength and further accomplishments.
