Delta State industrialist and APC chieftain Chief Simeon Ohwofa Ksc has paid tribute to the late Rt. Revd. Vincent Omasheho Muoghereh, praising his decades of service to God, education and community development.
Speaking after the burial held on Thursday, July 2, in Ughelli, Chief Ohwofa described the pioneer Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Ughelli as a model of humility, leadership and faith whose work “left an indelible mark” on Christianity in Delta State and Nigeria. He said Bishop Muoghereh, who died on Easter Sunday, April 6, 2026, at 85, was both a spiritual father and an accomplished educationist whose career as a principal and mentor shaped thousands of students.
Ohwofa highlighted the bishop’s role in advancing the Uwheru Kingdom, noting his commitment to peace, unity and public service even in retirement. “As a father in the Lord we shall miss his prayers and guidance; as a teacher we shall miss his passion for imparting knowledge,” he said, adding that the bishop’s legacy will endure in the lives he touched.
