The Nigerian Army confirmed that all appointments will take effect between 19 and 25 August 2025.
This reshuffle comes at a time when the military continues to confront security challenges across the country, from terrorism and banditry to oil theft and cyber threats.
Analysts say the new appointments reflect the Army’s commitment to reinforcing its command structure and adapting to emerging security demands.
