ABUJA – The Guild of Online Media Editors and Publishers of Nigeria (GOMEP-NG) has congratulated former member of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Ben Igbakpa, on his appointment as Delta State Director of the Door-to-Door Campaign for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The guild described the appointment as a recognition of Igbakpa’s leadership capacity, political experience and commitment to grassroots mobilisation.
In a statement jointly signed by its National President, Comrade Akpovoke Otiti, and National Secretary, Clinton Uba, GOMEP-NG said Igbakpa possesses the experience and organisational ability required to drive the campaign effectively across Delta State.
According to the statement, the former lawmaker has consistently demonstrated dedication to public service and grassroots engagement, qualities the guild said would strengthen the campaign in the state.
The media body expressed confidence that Igbakpa would deploy his wealth of political experience and extensive network to mobilise support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda ahead of future political engagements.
It also commended the leadership of the campaign organisation for what it described as a merit-based appointment, expressing optimism that Igbakpa would justify the confidence reposed in him.
While wishing him a successful tenure, GOMEP-NG urged the Delta State campaign director to remain focused, inclusive and committed to delivering on the objectives of the door-to-door mobilisation initiative.
