The Delta State Police Command has notified residents of Ogwashi-Uku and the general public that the Shooting event of the ongoing 15th Biennial Nigeria Police Games, tagged “BIPOGA Asaba 2026,” will take place at the Base 31 Police Mobile Force Shooting Range along the Kwale Road.
The event scheduled from Sunday, February 15, to Thursday, February 19, 2026, runs daily from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. It involves controlled firearm use strictly within the designated range.
According to the Police image maker in the Command, SP. Bright Edafe, in a release disclosed that all necessary safety and operational measures are in place, and urged the public not to panic. He noted that access to the immediate vicinity of the range will be temporarily restricted during the event period. Residents and road users should comply with all safety and traffic directives, he warned.
The Commissioner of Police, Delta State Command, Aina Adesola, reaffirms the Command’s commitment to safety and professionalism. He thanks residents for their understanding and cooperation with in the period.
