54 students of Borno State are currently on their way to achieving their life time dream following the state Governor Babagana Zulum, generous approval of a massive N12.9 billion scholarship to aide their careers in the skies.
The funds according to an aide of the governor will sponsor the 54 studies in Aeronautics, Engineering, and Pilot training at the Isaac Balami University of Aeronautics and Management. The program is said to kick off with basic pilot training for all, in addition to specialized tracks.

It was disclosed that 10 students will study Aerospace Engineering, 11 in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, 11 in Mechatronics Engineering, 12 in Software Engineering, and 10 in Systems Engineering.
Speaking directly to the excited beneficiaries, Gov. Zulum urged them to stay focused and committed. He highlighted the fair selection process, which picked two students from each of Borno’s 27 local government areas to ensure statewide equity.
