The Police Officers Wives Association Edo State Chapter, over the week visited the Edo State Commissioner of Police Monday Agbonika at Command headquarter in Benin City.
The Association led by by its chairperson, Mrs Helen Ada Joy Agbonika, had the Edo State Commissioner of Police, CP Monday Agbonika and the members of the management team playing host to Association to them.
According to a press release made available by CSP Moses Yamu, the Command Public Relations Officer, the Chairperson of the Association in the state, Mrs Helen Ada Joy Agbonika, pledged the association unwavering support to their husbands. She stated that as long their husbands are committed to providing security for the general public but leaves only the women to take care of the home front, they will always be by them to support their jobs.
Responding, CP Agbonika, appreciated POWA for their continuous support which underscores the strong bond between the Command and POWA, and promise the sustenance of partnership in the pursuit of excellence in policing and community service.
High point of the visit was the presentation of a portrait to the CP.
