well, my Political journey has been a miracle. So many things has happened in my life that people never thought would be possible. In 2003, I contested for the Anambra Governorship election under a party that was just one year old, people said it will take a miracle for me to win the election that year, I Won.

Addressing journalists at the  Government House, Asaba recently, the Chief Press Secretary to the Delta State Governor, Mr. Olisa Ifeajika described the allegation leveled against the Delta Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa and his wife, Edith by the former Federal Minister of Education for State, Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi, of influencing the guilty verdict on him by a Warri High Court in a suit instituted against him by his workers was just a cheap blackmail and lamentation of a drowning man.

According to the statement, Chief Adelabu, who hails from Ekakpamre in Ughelli South LGA, attended the prestigious Urhobo College, Effurun, for his Secondary School education and holds an LLB (Hons) and Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from the Delta State University, Abraka.

“In Asaba, the council approved an upward review of the rehabilitation of Onaje Street, Nwanze Street and Kwekeagbo Street by N899.50 million, from N334.99 million to N1.23 billion.
“The access road to Federal Housing Estate in Ugboroke in Uwvie Local Government Area has been reviewed from N525.41million to N656.45 million, and the Ekuku-Agbor and Obi-Agbor roads contract was reviewed upward, from N1.36 billion to N1.60 billion.

“Senator Omo-Agege is a listening person. This is the second time he has come here to give report of his stewardship. This time he has covered the whole of Urhobo nation. Seeing is believing. Every part of the Urhobo Nation has been touched. We are glad. We know when you come to the pinnacle of administration in the state, all things will be better,” the centenarian said.

On their part, Chief Hon. While commending Senator Omo-Agege for his competency, Chief Wiliki noted that he was sceptical thinking that who can match the vacuum Omo-Agege is living, but said, with Chief Ede Dafinone, Delta Central is safe. He urged him to fulfil all his campaign promises and bring pride to Delta Central.
