Describes him as a failure and lacks the capacity to represent Delta Central
A group identified as Nigeria Polling Unit Chairmen Forum (NPUCF) has perfected plans for the recall of Senator representing Delta Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly Senator Ede Dafinone, for an alleged poor representation, performances and lack of people-oriented policies and bills in the national assembly.

The Forum in its enlarged meeting held in Ughelli, headquarters of Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State, expressed dissatisfaction on the representation of Senator Ede Dafinone, noting that he has performed so poorly in the past two years in the cause of his representation of the Urhobo Nation.
Expressing their bitterness, the group challenged the Senator to come out with list of the projects he has facilitated to the Senatorial District and to also itemized what he spent the alleged 10 billion naira constituency project fund in his two years in office.
They accused Senator Ede Dafinone of failures to initiate and sponsor meaningful bills and motions that will affect constituents positively, adding that his representation lacks impact and empowerment on his constituents coupled with inability of constituents to access him.
Earlier in his welcome address titled “RECALL OF SENATOR EDE DAFINONE FOR POOR PERFORMANCE, LACK OF IMPACTFUL REPRESENTATION,” National Coordinator of the Nigeria Polling Unit Chairmen Forum (NPUCF), Rt. Evang. Nicholas Evwienure JP, maintained that the business of representing people is a serious one and requires more rigorous commitment, but said such commitment is lacking in him and asked the Senator to consider himself incompetent, having failed in these two years of representation.
He blamed the Senator of sluggishness and inability to use his legislative machinery to properly address the basic yearnings of the Urhobo people.
“Senator Ede Dafinone, the incumbent Senator representing Delta Central Senatorial district is about two years plus in this 10th Assembly and we, the eligible, registered Voters across the party lines of the Delta Central Senatorial district are calling on him to resign honourably or face recall.
“Our position is anchored on the numerous offences stated below;
Failure to account for the constituency projects funds to talking about 10 billion naira in the past two years.
Failure to sponsor, co-sponsor or initiate any notable bill or motion in the past years.
His failure to dole out empowerment programs to his constituents in the past two years.
For being inaccessible to his constituents and under representation of amongst others.
The above are our some of yhe reasons for his call to resign as a matter of urgency.
We are mandating our members to collect and compile eligible Voters’ signatures across the Delta Central Senatorial District for the recall of Senator Ede Dafinone from the National Assembly.
“Our modus operandi is people-oriented, and this we serve as a precedent and deterrent to all elected leaders that the same persons who elected them into offices can also recall them if they perform below standard and expectations.
