The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ticket is gaining momentum ahead of the forthcoming elections in Delta State as legal disputes continue to trail the primaries of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The development follows multiple court challenges questioning the legitimacy of the admission of new political heavyweights into the APC, including high profile figures whose participation in the party’s congresses is now being contested before the Federal High Court, Abuja.
Among those reportedly affected by the litigation are Gov. Sheriff Oborevwori, the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, and several members of the State Assembly who recently aligned with the APC and are seeking party tickets for the forthcoming elections.
