TAF Africa Foundation, a Non Governmental Organisation, under the auspices of Disability Right Advocacy Project for Inclusive Development (D-RAPID) is set to engage persons with disability in Delta State with skills acquisition and starter-packs for empowerment.

The Coordinator, Mr. Andrew Adaji, disclosed this in Ughelli during an enlightenment and sensitization training with the Ughelli North chapter of the National Association of People With Disability PWD, on Thursday.
Mr.Adaji, his Project officer, Mr Benjamin Nomor, while addressing group said, D-RAPID main focus is to advocate for the rights of persons with disability, train them on entrepreneurial skills and empower them.

Mr. Adaji distributing the training materials noted that the training will last between the period of three to six months, adding that the train will commence soonest, stating that starter packs will be given to all successful trainee to begin their businesses.
He urged them to take the training program serious and warned them not to sell off their r starter packs at the end of the training.
Adaji promised that the disability law will also be translated into three major languages to enhance quick implementation.
The chairman of national association of disability, Ughelli North chapter, comrade John Omokiniovo in his address, commended D-RAPID for their show of love towards them. He also thanked the Delta State chairman of Persons with disability, Comrade Ernest Igbuzo for picking Ughelli North for the program, and assured D-RAPID that his member will not disappoint them.
