Director of Social Communications, Catholic Diocese of Warri, Rev. Fr. Cletus Enwefah, has urged members of the Catholic Women Organization of Nigeria (CWON) Warri Deanery, to adhered to prayers, the Eucharist and the scripture in other to be unstoppable in their lives.
He gave this admonition during a retreat he hosted to mark the year of jubilee at Warri recently. With the theme: ‘Unstoppable Women of Jubilee”, taken from Proverb 31:25, members of the CWON converged on Tuesday, August 5 through Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Aruoture, Warri South Local Government Area, Delta State, for a retreat to commemorate the year of jubilee.
Admonishing the women, host parish priest and Retreat Master, Rev. Fr. Cletus Enwefah, described the unstoppable woman as someone who strives to set good virtues wherever she finds herself, adding that the unstoppable woman can only attain a greater heights if she imbibed and work with a weapon he called and termed ‘PES’ meaning Prayer, Eucharist and Scripture.Group Photos
He said; “A woman can be a stumbling block to either her husband, children, friends, the church, the CWO group, Society or even herself if she fails to run with the PES weapon of prayer, the Eucharist and the scripture.”
While appreciating the group, Fr. Enwefah, thanked them for using the occasion to affect lives of people through skills acquisition trainings and empowerment, but urged them to always apply the PES in their daily lives so that they could become a shining example to others and a light to guide other women.
Also speaking, Dean of Warri Deanery and Chaplain to the Women, Rt. Rev. Monsignor Clement Edjedegba, urged the women to set good examples through their mode of dressing, utterances towards their children, husbands, others either at home or at places of work. This he said is also a way of becoming an unstoppable women.
