The statement further read; “For the purpose of clarity, the Delta State Commissioner of Police CP Ari Muhammed Ali, has declared that there is no “sit at home order” in Delta State.  He assured residents of their safety and urges them to go about their lawful businesses as the Command is willing and able to deal decisively with anyone or group of persons who try to cause any form of trouble in the State.

Addressing the staff and pupils on his mission to the school,  Hon. Umukoro said his desire to embark on donating the books to pupils is borne out of the fact that education is the bedrock of any nation and as such, he felt no child should be denied the opportunity of acquiring sound education just because of his or her parental background. He however urged the pupils to be good children who will better the society in future, noting that education is a light that can drive away ignorance, timidity and poverty.

The Minister of Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs, Senator George Akume, in a 2022 National Honours Award Letter to Mr Dike James Chigbue said that; “I have the honour to formally inform you that the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, has approved the conferment of the National Honours on you, in the rank of MON (Member of the Order of the Niger)”.
